Data Recovery

It's a lot harder to lose data than you think. Data can be recovered from flooding, fire or a heavy fall. It can literally be run over by a bus, and stand a good chance of survival. iSOS have a 95% recovery success rate.

Size doesn't matter

We cater for businesses of all sizes, it’s not the size of the files that matter, but how important they are to you. Our staff will be able to give a guide price which may be revised once we have received the drive.

The Process

We take a good hard look at your media before calling you with a report and a no obligation quotation. Our analysis period typically takes between 24-48 hours from the time we receive your media.

Recovery

Assuming you accept our quote, the data will be recovered and transferred onto any suitable media; it may be a DVD or a hard drive (returnable or purchasable from us within 48 hours). If we are unable to recover 100% of your data, we will send a file, listing everything we recovered, for you to verify.

Post-Recovery

We are always happy to provide after care to help you get back to normality after a data loss situation, and we will also back up your recovery for a period of 14 days just in case you have any mishaps.

Laptop - Desktop or external portable media

The more portable, the more vulnerable – usually to human error. But despite all your best efforts, sometimes things just go wrong.

Software corruption

It may be a software problem, or it might be that hardware is damaged and needs salvaging or replacing. Data recovery from logical errors can sometimes be the most time consuming especially when the file system has been compromised.

Physical damage

This form of damage commonly occurs when a drive has received an impact or has suffered fires, flooding, or a head crash (when the heads of the hard disk drive touch the platter surface).
